Cedar Ridge Otis
We are literally the luckiest breeders and so honored to have this bull originally marketed by Sara Haas/Sure Shot Cattle Company. He is the full package and the real deal (plus, huge bonus, he is super friendly and such a good boy). He is tiny! A2/A2 and homozygous polled. We could not be happier and are loving every one of his babies. He is a once in a lifetime bull and we pray we will one day find his replacement when he retires but that is shaping up to be a very hard find.
Tin Stone Cavalier
TONs of DC genetics behind this one. We love what he turned into - he’s the more refined dairy look - still working on a natural picture of him but he loves scratches too much by the fence whenever I come with a camera (can send a great video however). He was bred by the lovely Tin Stone Farm, is A2/A2, homozygous polled and currently standing at 46 inches at maturity. His dam is the beautiful DC Pumpkin Pie and his sire is heavily painted Tin Stone Bravo. He has great ability to pass on painted calves and will often maintain the desired midsize while also passing on the tiny genetics behind him for miniatures. We are excited to have calves on the ground this year and he’s already becoming a popular option due to his confirmation, udder genetics and strong feet. If you are looking for a very classical dairy look, great dish face and hope to maintain some height for milking ease with great udders behind him, this is your guy. Until we have more data, we are not recommending him for heifers at this time.
Rockcastle
Isn’t he a beauty! Named after a distillery in Kentucky where he was born, this dude is A2/A2, homo-polled and sired by Sure Shot Legend with dam Sure Shot Petunia Blossom (on our “cows” page), one of our best udders on the farm and a tiny little cow. She makes a great 3.5 gallons a day with once-a-day milking. He is 41 inches and we have conventional semen available. He’s already proven himself several times over. If you are looking for the rising in popularity mulberry color providing paint and some of the best udders behind a pedigree we’ve seen, this is your guy.
Little Oaks Caliber
Just added this bull to the lineup in 2026 after searching for the next best bull for over 2 years. His dam is one of the prettiest cows to look at in the pasture with her highly desired light painted fawn and small stature. He is 41 inches at 2.5 years old, compact, fantastic feet and not only a gorgeous dam but DC Alpha behind his name. If you are looking for that A2/A2 painted light fawn color and solid all the way around, this is your guy. Dam pictured below.
